41. Anchoring Skill - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Quantum Gopher on 28/09/2003 12:22:42 Actually, I think them giant secures work better as temporary storage while the indy collects from them and flies back to a station to make a deposit. They work best as part of a large operatio...

43. [Soapbox] Player-owned property and the future of EVE - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Why not allow the controlling power of a player owned station to hire npc mercenaries to enforce the peace in non-Concorde controlled space. Security levels would mean squat. Only agressors would be attacked. Of course there's the problem of the c...

45. To CCP/GMs: Bann this player from playing eve anymore - Please. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
IMHO: Naming yourself and acting like a player character (drone) in order to trick a player and get the game mechanics to kill said player should be bannable. Just as naming yourself as a GM and/or acting like a game master in order to influenc...

46. That sticky about attacking the GMs - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I don't think ANY player should be able to create a name with GM as the first two letters. I think any player that isn't a GM that has GM in the front of their name should be banned as they are obviously trying to impersonate a Game Master. I'v...

48. That sticky about attacking the GMs - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Quantum Gopher on 18/08/2003 13:57:29 The way I read the "Attacking GMs Message": They are there to do a job, not play the game. If you interfere with them, you risk repercussions. In short, don't attack them. It would also probabl...

49. About the Item hangar... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I think allowing us to create "filter tabs" in our station inventory would go a long way in making things easier. That way we can choose what we want to see or not to see. The main view being "All", right click on the top of the inventory window....

50. Don't you think it's about time to remove the NPC pirates from Gates? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I think to be more in accordance with "gaming reality", npc pirates and npc police (Concord, Navy etc.) should not both be present at gates. The two obviously opposite (say that three times fast) sides should not be ignoring each other. IMHO Q....

51. Giant secure containers - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I like the thought of a true Cargo Train. Have the "engine" ships (cargo tow?) latch onto the containers, perhaps even have a friend attach his engine to help out if the mass of all the containers is too much to handle well (more engines = faster...

52. What will be done to stop container abuse? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
How about Concord Salvage Operations? Cans left in space unused for a certain number of hours/days could be "salvaged" by Concord employees (either actual ships or during server down) and held at the nearest appropriate Concord facility for picku...
